Workflow
After getting down the brand name and company vision, I started to put
together a moodboard to help me start create the visual identity.
Based on the moodboard I chose the colour palette, going for a warm
but still quite popping combination. I wanted to stay away from the
classic greens and blues in order to make the packinging stand out.
After having the basis of the design language in place I went ahead
withe the creation of the logo and patterns. I went for a '60s and
'70s inspired look, so I chose the font and the graphics with that
idea in mind. After some experimentation I arrived at a logo and
pattern that I liked.
Next, I created a 3 by 3 grid with more ideas of graphics and logo
placements, these serving as the base for the whole brand look.
Finally, I took the designs I created and placed them on mockups, to
bring the brand to life.
